Year 14/28 – Stage 1 – this is where it really starts...

My life changes forever in three stages. Stage 1: It's 18 July 2011. A boy who is just turning 14. Harry Potter 7 Part 2 has been released in cinemas and I can't believe that our neighbour and her little brother are inviting us to the cinema with them. My first ever cinema film and Harry Potter 7 Part 2 at that! I had devoured all the books and always wondered what this world would look like. And now I got to find out. And it was exactly as I had imagined it. The colours. The perspectives. The intensity of the conversations. Everything was just like in my head. And suddenly, the question went beyond wedding videos: 'How did they get what was in this book and what I imagined from it onto this screen?' How fascinating... You'll soon understand why I'm telling my whole story from day one. To prove that there are no coincidences.
