Year 6/28 – Part 2

We are staying with my aunt in Friedberg. We children are playing when we receive some shocking news. The man who gave me my name has returned to his Creator. The fourth Khalif and head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community (the only Muslim community with a peaceful caliphate for over 100 years, the community's motto: Love for all, hatred for none). I cannot put into words the joy of seeing these people, and for the first time I am experiencing something that some people around me cannot cope with. The shock leaves me speechless. I show no emotion because it would be too strong to hold back. Four days later, our new light: His successor, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba), brings light back into this time without a shepherd.
